Outdoor Ed Trips

Explore the trails of Zhuhai’s hills and trek the major summits the city has to offer.  ZIS Outdoor Education programs are designed for new and practiced adventurers in Years 7-13 with trips designed to teach outdoor skills, to develop connections with the natural world, and to build confidence and leadership in every student. 

Three trips are planned to begin the school year, each excursion increasing the degree of challenge concluding with a summit trip to Zhuhai’s magnificent Huangyangshan where you’ll find the majestic Jintai Temple nestled in the edge of the Forest Park. Trips are limited to 18 participants and guided by ZIS excursion leaders. Taking place during the school day.  Each trip involves a pre-trip meeting to prepare for the hike and to impart the goals of Outdoor Ed: teamwork, challenge, and adventure.
