We had a wonderful turn out to our first Sundowner in four years on the evening of Saturday, September 23rd. Apart from gusts of wind playing havoc with our performers, the weather cooperated for a comfortable evening of entertainment. ZIS community members gathered on the front lawn of the school to enjoy performances from students and teachers, musicians and dancers. Very memorable performances kept the audience engaged and we can’t wait to hear more throughout the year. Some students even hit the stage toward the end of the night after a four-hour return from their volleyball tournament. Their bus must have felt the vibes from the Sundowner as I heard they sang their whole way back to school. Gina was a wonderful master of ceremonies and kept us entertained with quizzes and prizes between performances. Congratulations to all involved.
