Sports Day is always one of the most enjoyable days of the school year for students, teachers, and parents.  This year was no exception, though we have had to divide the Primary and Secondary events onto separate days to make it more manageable.  The Primary students, coordinated by our PYP PE Teacher, Mr. Mike Lee, competed in a series of track and field events.  The students began the day cheering on each class as they competed in the 40m sprint before moving into a rotation of Olympic style competitions, including: Long Jump, Shot Put, Javelin, Discus, and the 400m sprint. Our young athletes gave each event their full effort and put forward an impressive display of grit and spirit.  A tasty treat at the end of the events capped the day off perfectly!

The following week, the Secondary students enjoyed their own Sports Day.  Rather than competing in a series of individual events, the four school houses, Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow were called upon to test themselves in team sports: Basketball, Football, and Volleyball.  The event coincided with the final day for the Year 13 students, sending them off to their exam study leave in style.  Thank you to Mr. Dan for motivating the students to such a high level of performance during what was a perfectly organized day.
