Thursday September 8 was International Literacy Day. ZIS celebrated this important day by having shared reading between older and younger students throughout the school. Students were encouraged to read stories to one another, listen to stories being read to them and engage in other literacy activities. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm from everyone. We will continue to focus on Literacy as a school this year and we look to celebrating International Literacy Day next year with even more special events.
